LED is used for switching on and off and for dimming resistive, inductive and capacitive loads such as incandescent lamps, halogen lamps and low-voltage halogen lamps as well as dimmable LED lamps. It operates as a phase section or phase control dimmer with automatic load detection. It is overload-proof, short-circuit-proof, protected against overheating and has a soft start function. You can set the dimming range and, if necessary, change the operating mode (from phase section to phase control). Hints: Dimming of the light source must be guaranteed by the lamp manufacturer. Mixed load operation (simultaneous switching and dimming of inductive and capacitive loads) is not possible. Socket outlets and electronic household appliances (vacuum cleaner, stereo system, etc.) must not be dimmed.
