The 87V MAX is specified according to IP 67 (waterproof and dustproof). The extended operating temperature ranges from -15 °C to +55 °C (-40 °C for up to 20 minutes). The devices are designed for 95% humidity and have been developed and tested to withstand a drop from 4 meters without any issues. The True-RMS Digital Multimeter Fluke 87V MAX is designed for extreme environmental conditions. The 87V MAX also features an industrial-grade outer casing and a removable holster that additionally serves as a holder for test leads and probes for one-handed operation.
