The Gardena soil moisture sensor reliably measures soil moisture exactly where it matters, at the roots of the plants. It works well in lawns and flower beds, as well as in shallower flower pots. The sensor is connected to the irrigation control via a 5-meter cable, which can be extended up to 105 meters if needed. When there is sufficient soil moisture, the next scheduled irrigation is skipped to save water. The flat sensor protrudes only 20 mm from the ground, allowing it to remain on the lawn where a robotic mower is in use without being damaged. It is compatible with Gardena irrigation controls Flex, Select, Bluetooth, Master, and the 9V Bluetooth irrigation valve. It can also be used with MultiControl duo, the multi-channel controls 4030 and 6030, as well as older Gardena controls with sensor connections.
