The integrated door closer Boxer EFS EN 4-6 allows for barrier-free access through single-leaf doors thanks to its free-swing function. The door closer is fully recessed into the door leaf and frame, making the sliding rail and lever invisible when the door is closed. The "Freeswing" free-swing function enables the door to be passed through with minimal effort in either the opening or closing direction, for example in senior facilities or hospitals, after the door has been opened once, such as in the morning. The door closer can be used for both right and left-hand doors without any adjustments. When installed, the closing speed, end stop, and mechanical opening damping can be adjusted in the sliding rail.

The Boxer EFS size EN 4-6 for single-leaf doors offers the perfect combination of the new integrated comfort locking function, which allows the door to be locked at the end of the free-swing area, and the proven GEZE "Freeswing" free-swing function. The locking mechanism prevents unwanted slamming of the door, for example, due to drafts. Fire protection is not compromised at any time; the door closes securely when triggered, even if it is in the locked position.
