The Surface-Mounted Bell AP serves as an additional signaling device in the Gira door communication system. The fully pre-assembled Surface-Mounted Bell AP allows for quick and clean installation. The design variety through integration ensures a uniform appearance of door communication and electrical installation. Installation is possible both with and without a cover frame.

Easy installation is facilitated by detachable screw terminals and straightforward disassembly of the device during renovation work. Mounting holes are provided for installation. Signal transmission and power supply for the Surface-Mounted Bell AP occur via a polarity-safe and short-circuit-proof 2-wire bus. It is possible to connect up to three bells or apartment stations in parallel.

Single-person commissioning is achievable through a simple commissioning procedure. Control buttons with integrated LEDs for status indication. LED display for an incoming call. Option to mute the ringing tone. Distinction of ringing tones between door call, internal call, and floor call. Selection of ringing melodies - up to five different ringing melodies can be chosen.

The control buttons of the bell manage the following functions: setting the ringing melody, turning the ringing on and off, and adjusting the ringing volume.
