Universal Dimmer Actuator 3-fold KNX easy, 3x300W, ESL/LED. The Universal Dimmer Actuator REG is used for switching and dimming and automatically detects the type of load. The Easydetect procedure optimizes the dimming range, either by pressing a button on the external sensor, on the device, or via an object. It is a DIN rail-mounted device with an integrated bus coupler, QuickConnect terminal blocks for auxiliary voltage, KNX bus connection, load connection, and labeling field.

The device features control buttons for manual operation with a status LED, as well as a backlit dimming mode button. Indicator LEDs show short circuit, overload protection, and overheating protection. A sliding switch allows selection between auto/min/max/manual, and there is a backlit programming button.

Functions include switching and dimming loads, dimming channel selection for dimming, on/off, timer function with off pre-warning, forced control with status indication, and an activatable/deactivatable automatic function. Up to 64 scene functions can be set per channel. Manual operation for switching and dimming is also possible without the bus. The status object of the output is defined by the current flow through the light source.

Note: The device can be programmed using the easy commissioning tool, the easy configuration server, or ETS. Conventional transformers must not be connected together with electronic transformers.
