All items from the HX system are compatible with each other and can be added to and expanded as desired. The HX Piano wireless receiver features a stylish high-gloss black finish. The HX system includes an easy-to-use self-learning function for adding additional components. To extend the range, one or more range extenders can be connected in between. Additional transmitters, such as the HX wireless motion detector or the HX wireless door sensor, can also be integrated into the system. To avoid interference with other wireless transmitters, the HX system offers 256 frequencies that the device learns automatically.

The HX Piano wireless doorbell set includes a waterproof transmitter (IP55) with a nameplate, which is protected against water jets and already comes with a battery. The volume of the doorbell can be adjusted in four different levels, with the highest level reaching 90 dB (A). The receiver can play eight different melodies. An optical call signal appears in the form of blue light alongside the melody.

It is possible to turn off either the optical signal or the sound (ring only, LED only, ring and LED). When using additional transmitters, a different melody can be assigned to each transmitter (e.g., front door, back door). The doorbell can be easily and quickly silenced with the on/off switch. Thanks to the plug-in connection, the doorbell only requires a power outlet.
