The Genius testing device offers the possibility for easy and professional installation, removal, functional testing, and maintenance of Genius smoke detectors of all generations.

Installation (Screwing in) / Removal (Unscrewing)
For the installation or removal of the Genius smoke detector, the Genius testing device is positioned in "Installation" mode using the test button. The Genius smoke detector can then be screwed in or unscrewed from the base from the ground.

Adhesive Pad Installation
The Genius testing device can be used for installation with an adhesive pad. For this, the Genius smoke detector in its installed state (smoke detector screwed into the base) is placed in the testing device in "Installation" mode, with an adhesive pad already applied to one side of the base. The Genius can then be attached to the ceiling in one step using the testing device from the ground.

Testing / Functional Testing
The Genius testing device can also be used for testing or functional checks of the Genius smoke detectors. For this, the Genius testing device is positioned in "Test" mode using the test button, and then the test button of the smoke detector can be easily and reliably activated from the ground.

Diagnosis and Maintenance
For maintenance and diagnosis using the Genius Pro app, the smartphone is secured in the smartphone holder of the testing device. This allows for the Genius Pro app-supported maintenance to be carried out with maximum reliability from the ground.
