The network-powered Homematic IP Universal Switch Actuator is part of the Homematic IP Smart Home system and allows for the control of regulated residential ventilation or analog dimmers. The actuator can be easily controlled via the Homematic IP app, where time profiles can also be conveniently set up. The Universal Switch Actuator features a switching output with a 0-10 V interface, which allows for the easy control of electronic control gear or regulated residential ventilation. An additional consumer, such as a dimmer, can be connected to the parallel 1-10 V interface. When the actuator is connected to a Homematic IP wireless switch, it is also possible to easily implement a draft ventilation with the press of a button. Time profiles ensure that the residential ventilation operates at a normal level during the day and reduces performance at night. This saves energy and reduces disruptive ventilation noise. Once a conventional consumer is connected, it can also be switched on or off directly next to the power supply with the help of an additional relay. Thus, the connected device can be completely powered off, unlike conventional actuators. The Homematic IP Universal Switch Actuator can be mounted on the wall or in the ceiling using standard screws and dowels thanks to its side mounting brackets.
