The 2-channel wall switch for the Homematic IP Wired system features two independently usable switch channels, making it highly versatile. Two intuitively operated buttons allow for comfortable control of devices or system functions in the smart home. For example, it enables the turning on and off of light sources or the raising and lowering of roller shutters. With a single button press, multiple Homematic IP devices and functions can be controlled simultaneously. For instance, when leaving the house, all lights can be turned off and all radiators can be set to eco mode. Activating or deactivating the security mode via the wall switch also provides a sense of safety in the smart home.

The connection is made via the Homematic IP Wired bus for reliable power supply and secure communication between devices. The wall switch can be easily integrated into existing switch series in the 55 mm frame size of leading manufacturers. It is optimized for easy installation on flush-mounted boxes using the included mounting plate. The removable push-in terminal with spring-loaded clamps simplifies the connection to the Wired bus.

The Wired system can be controlled via the CCU3 central unit, through many partner solutions, and in the future via the Homematic IP Access Point. A Homematic IP Wired Access Point is necessary for the operation of the Wired system.
