The Housegard Pebble 10 SA701 is an optical smoke detector designed by Lars Wettren. The appearance of the Pebble is soft and aesthetically pleasing, allowing it to blend harmoniously into any home. Pebble 10 is user-friendly, featuring simple pause and test functions, and is easy to clean. The smoke detector has a built-in lithium battery that lasts for the entire lifespan of 10 years, providing an added safety factor as you won't have to worry about changing the battery. Pebble 10 comes with 3M mounting tape, making it easy to install without drilling mounting screws.

An optical smoke detector is the most common type of smoke alarm and responds quickly to smoldering fires and the particles they produce. The optical sensor is sensitive to small particles, so the smoke detector should not be placed in areas where it could trigger false alarms.

The smoke detector should be tested once a week and replaced every ten years.
