Illbruck ME402 Butylband Alu consists of a self-adhesive plasto-elastic butyl rubber compound with high adhesive strength, laminated on one side with a tear-resistant, UV and weather-resistant plastic/aluminium composite film.

Product benefits:

  • Adheres to many substrates without primer
  • UV- and weather-resistant surface
  • Gas- and water vapour diffusion-tight

Application areas:

  • Sealing of seams and overlaps indoors and outdoors
  • Repair or renovation of weathered joints (e.g. in greenhouse construction)
  • Sealing of connections, seams or joints where a gas and water vapour diffusion-tight seal is required

Note: Peel-off strips protrude by 10 mm on the left and right.
