Illbruck ME404 Butyl Tape Fleece consists of a self-adhesive plastoelastic butyl rubber compound with high adhesive strength, which is laminated with an elastic plastic fleece. It is stable in lengthwise direction.

Product advantages:

  • One-sided installation, e.g. sound insulation installation indoors, improvement of about 10 dB
  • High adhesive strength of the butyl, adheres without primer to many substrates
  • Paintable and plasterable
  • 10% permanent movement absorption in the transverse direction

Areas of application:

  • Sealing of joints, seams, and cracks
  • In metal and sheet processing (e.g. sealing of segment elements to metal constructions)
  • In roofing (e.g. for connection and overlap sealing)
