Herd Guardian SGK5010 with flat sensor unit. The Herd Guardian consists of a sensor and control unit. The wireless sensor unit in a flat design and the control unit are designed for 230/400 V AC 3~N, 3x16 A, star connection (can be switched to delta connection). The sensor unit (case color silver) with infrared and thermal sensor detects temperatures and temperature changes. It warns in dangerous situations with an 80 dB (A) acoustic signal and sends a radio signal to the control unit to interrupt the power supply to the stove, even before a fire starts. Acknowledgment/reset is done by pressing a button. The sensor unit is attached to the extractor hood, wall, or ceiling using the included self-adhesive magnetic plate.

The Herd Guardian meets the standard for products to prevent kitchen fires EN50615:2015-Category B. The power supply for the sensor unit is provided by a replaceable 3 V lithium battery CR2032 (included). Cost coverage by the care insurance is possible.
