The new Q1 smoke detector from KIDDE is one of the first smoke alarms to carry the new Q label and has been tested and certified according to the new vfdb guideline 14/01. In addition to a minimum power supply of ten years, the detector must meet further strict quality criteria according to 14/01. These include, among other things, particularly high protection of the components against corrosion, increased protection of the measurement chamber, and maximum electromagnetic compatibility. Only such quality criteria ensure that your smoke alarm operates reliably and without interruption throughout its entire lifespan.
