Type A-L cable lugs are made from electrolytic copper tubing (SE-Cu according to DIN EN 13600). The wall thickness of the tube ensures the best electrical conductivity and mechanical protection against vibrations and pull-out forces of the conductor. Our cable lugs are annealed to ensure optimal ductility, which is necessary since the cable lugs are significantly deformed during crimping and must withstand common twisting of the tab during use. Even under vibrations and oscillations, the connectors must ensure a reliable contact. In these circumstances, hardness plays a crucial role in preventing breakage and cracks. The inspection hole ensures the correct insertion of the conductor. The sleeve length has been chosen to ensure easy and accurate positioning between the crimping inserts during crimping. Our cable lugs are electrolytically tin-plated to prevent oxidation.
