95 11 200 SB cable shears are designed for cutting copper and aluminum cables. They are not suitable for steel wire or hard-drawn copper conductors. The hardened cutting edges feature precision grinding, allowing for smooth and clean cuts without crushing. The cutting process is divided into a pre-cut (insulating jacket in the front cutting area) and a post-cut (conductor in the rear cutting area), enabling cables up to 20 mm in diameter to be cut with one hand. The shears require low power due to favorable transmission ratios and a special cutting geometry. Pinch protection prevents crushing injuries, and the adjustable screw joint is self-locking.
