The Knipex CoBolt features precise cutting edges designed for soft, hard, and piano wires. It effectively cuts bolts, nails, rivets, and more with a maximum diameter of 5.2 mm. The efficient joint design ensures exceptional cutting performance with minimal effort. The cutting edges are additionally induction-hardened and have a hardness of approximately 64 HRC. The micro-structured cutting edges reduce material slipping from the jaws. It has a gripping area below the joint to grip and pull wires with a diameter of 1.0 mm. The slim, multi-component handles, designed without collars, provide better handling and easier transport. The large contact area on the handles allows for better pressure distribution and increases comfort during use.
