The Knipex-Werk Adjustable Wrench 86 05 180 SB replaces a set of wrenches, both metric and imperial. The smooth jaws allow for gentle installation of surface-finished fittings, making it ideal for work directly on chrome. It is excellent for gripping, holding, pressing, and bending workpieces. Sensitive fittings are not damaged due to the play-free, full-surface contact.

The quick adjustment via push button occurs directly on the workpiece, preventing unintentional adjustments of the gripping jaws and slippage of the joint. Stepless gripping of all jaw widths up to the specified capacity is possible with parallel-guided jaws. The stroke between the gripping jaws allows for quick tightening and loosening of screw connections using a ratcheting principle.

The high clamping force is achieved through a 10-fold increase in hand force. The narrow gripping jaws are ideal for screw situations that require a slim tool.
