The ERSA RDS 80 is microprocessor-controlled and offers not only direct selection of three programmable temperatures but also additional useful features such as standby and auto power-off functions, as well as a large, easy-to-read LCD display. The powerful PTC heating element of the RT 80 soldering iron (up to 290 W heating power) ensures a quick reach to the set temperature (approximately 40 seconds) with a corresponding power reserve. The very high heating capacity and the wide range of internally heated soldering tips from the 832/842 series allow for a very broad spectrum of applications.
