Product details

Surface sealant, versatile flexible silicone sealant. Ideal for flexible sealing surfaces, machined or deep-drawn surfaces, metal or plastic. Loctite SI 5926 cures when it comes into contact with moisture in the air to form a flexible seal. This product is resistant to aging, weathering, and temperature cycling, without hardening, shrinking, or cracking. It also withstands vibrations as well as thermal expansion and stress. It is commonly used for control housings, differential covers, oil pans, transmission housings, water pumps, and thermostat housings. This product is typically used in a temperature range of -55 °C to 200 °C.
