The sensor enables the automatic control of lighting or other electrical devices, thus saving energy. The lighting is turned on by a PIR motion sensor that operates on an infrared basis. It activates the lighting when a heat-emitting object moves. A built-in light sensor allows the activation of the sensor function in daylight.
