DURA PLUS is a frameless all-glass system that is supported solely by a narrow profile. The combination of wall clamping profile and special glass provides DURA PLUS with an extraordinary load capacity of up to 140 kilograms per square meter. This is certified by a general building authority approval from the German Institute for Structural Engineering. DURA PLUS is made from 17.52 mm thick SentryGlas, a special type of laminated safety glass (LSG, 2 tempered glass panes with an interlayer). The unique feature here is the SGP interlayer, which is five times stronger and one hundred times stiffer than conventional interlayers, ensuring the high load-bearing capacity and impact resistance of DURA PLUS.
