The DC18SF charger can charge four Makita batteries simultaneously. Thanks to intelligent sensors, the charger only begins charging the batteries once they have reached the appropriate charging temperature. This significantly extends the lifespan of the Li-Ion batteries. The four-battery charger features two separate connection pairs, each charging two batteries in succession. The hassle of unplugging and replugging the batteries after each charging cycle, along with the associated time loss, is a thing of the past. Makita enables the charging of four batteries in a short time (e.g., 4 BL1830 batteries in 2 hours).
