The new DET3 series grounding measurement devices from Megger offer unique solutions for your grounding measurements. The complete kit, which includes the measuring device, measuring leads, and spikes, comes in a robust hard-shell case – everything you need for your measurements. The housing of the grounding measurement device has an IP54 protection rating, making it suitable for outdoor use. The device is designed to be user-friendly: a large selector switch makes it easy to choose between 2- or 3-wire grounding measurements. With its large and easy-to-read LCD display and a prominent start button, the device is particularly well-suited for the demands of outdoor grounding measurements. The devices automatically check probe and auxiliary electrode resistances and display the status on the LCD screen. Additionally, the device includes a voltmeter for measuring earth voltage, with the maximum measurement voltage adjustable to 25 or 50 V. With the DET3TC grounding measurement device, selective grounding measurement (ART) can be performed using the optional current clamp, allowing for the testing of individual electrodes without disconnecting them, thus keeping the grounding system intact during measurement.
