The box insert is fully shielded and approved for CAT 6A. The socket is mounted on standard DIN rails like a circuit breaker. The width of 1 TE allows for the installation of up to 12 modules in standard electrical distribution boards. When installed as a Class I device, the potential equalization is achieved through an integrated potential equalization plate directly over the DIN rail, which must be connected to the building's potential equalization via appropriate contact terminals. The module is protected from direct contact by a cover. When mounted in protective insulated distribution boards, the Class II protection remains intact. For this, the potential equalization spring must be removed.
