A green flashing of the built-in LED indicates that the device is heating up, when the LED is lit ( not flashing ) the battery soldering iron is ready for use. To avoid burns, the device also has a red LED, when this lights up, the soldering iron is off, but the tip is still hot. Thanks to the lockable function of the head, a position in 0 °, 45°, and 90° is easily possible. Thanks to the temperature monitoring function, the temperature remains constant during operation.
