These multi-point locks feature a mechanically switchable day function (key rotation in the open position in the closing direction until it stops). This allows the door to be accessible from both sides, as the 3 pivot bolts are soft and function similarly to a roller bolt. When the day function is turned off (key rotation in the open position in the opening direction), the lock automatically engages when the door is closed (self-locking). Exiting through a locked door is possible at any time via the interior handle, a panic bar, or a push bar. These mechanisms retract the 3 long bolts and simultaneously soften the 3 pivot bolts (panic function). A knob or a handle bar is mounted on the outside. The door can be opened from the outside with a key by switching.
