The ladder is made of aluminum and consists of sturdy rectangular tube stiles and square rungs fluted on both sides, measuring 30 x 30 mm. The rung spacing is 280 mm. Single ladders over 3.0 m may only be used without a crossbar if they are used exclusively for their intended purpose, such as being permanently installed, fitted with hooks, or fastened with a belt.
