The high-quality steel tank is ideal for storing osmosis water and fits all standard osmosis systems thanks to its standardised connections. Horizontal or vertical installation is possible without any problems; it is also possible to connect several tanks of the same design in series to further increase the storage capacity. The internal membrane is made of butyl rubber and is pre-filled at the factory.

The stand for upright installation is included in the scope of delivery.
3.2 gallons capacity corresponds to 12.1 litres. Effective capacity of the tank: 9 litres.

Butyl rubber:

This rubber belongs to the elastomer group. The plastic is characterised by its resistance to hot air, weathering and the influence of ozone. The elastomer has low gas permeability, good chemical resistance and very good damping properties against vibration and impact energy up to 100 °C. In the low temperature range, butyl rubber remains elastic down to -70 °C. The main areas of use and application for butyl rubber are air hoses and tyre liners, heating bellows, steam hoses and tank linings. Other applications include films, membranes and unvulcanised sealing compounds and tapes. Butyl rubber is also known as IIR (isobutene-isoprene rubber).
