It utilizes a CREE XHP35 HD LED with a lifespan of 50,000 hours to emit a maximum output of 1,800 lumens and a throw of 182 meters, using an optical system combined with crystal coating and Precision Digital Optics Technology (PDOT). The auxiliary red light is specially equipped for low light tactics and can effectively protect night vision without influencing the adaptive optics system, making it suitable for outdoor, tactical, and law enforcement situations, including equipment checks and map reading.

Constructed from aero grade aluminum alloy, the P18 features crafting techniques on par with F1 car engines and spacecraft. The unibody die-casting tube containing the LED and circuit board provides a rigid and impact-resistant structure in a lightweight and fast cooling body that fits comfortably in your hand. The anti-sliding design ensures a comfortable grip. The one-hand operable user interface consists of a silent tactical tail switch that accesses momentary or constant on of the white light, and a side switch that independently controls the auxiliary red light.
