NORD-LOCK® wedge lock washer, stainless steel 254 SMO®- According to DIN 25201 - EN 1.4547 or equivalent, surface hardened - 254 SMO® - high performance stainless steel with greater mechanical strength and corrosion resistance than most austenitic stainless steels - High chromium, nickel and molybdenum content for high resistance to pitting and crevice corrosionHigh chromium, nickel and molybdenum content for high resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion - Specially developed for use in chloride/corrosive environments and salt water solutions - Bolted connection secured by clamping force instead of friction - Wedge face on the inside, radial ribs on the outside - Used in pairs - Sp: Enlarged outer diameter to increase the contact surface (recommended for use with slotted holes or on soft materials such as aluminium).
