The Bundeswehr folding spade made of durable carbon steel can be used flexibly as a shovel, spade, or hoe (3-in-1). The shovel blade features a smooth side as well as a ridged side. A tread edge, the thread for securing the handle, and the ergonomically shaped grip make handling practical. The folding spade is ideal for camping, outdoor activities, survival, or mountaineering. In working position, the folding spade is 58 cm long. When folded, the packed dimensions are only 25 x 17 x 6 cm. For mobile use, the folding spade is transported in a plastic box with a belt loop that can be attached to a belt or trekking backpack.
