Surge controller top part, type 2 surge arrester for photovoltaic systems. Provides overvoltage protection and equipotential bonding according to VDE 0100-443 (IEC 60364-4-44). Discharge capacity up to 40 kA (8/20) per pole. Low DC protection level: less than 2.0 kV per pole (Y-circuit: 4.0 kV and Uoc max = 1000V DC). Pluggable arrester with thermal-dynamic disconnect device and visual function indicator. Encapsulated zinc oxide varistor arrester designed for use in distribution boxes. Suitable for PV systems with or without a separate isolated lightning protection system.
