The monitor receives signals via a wireless, interference-free connection over 2.4 GHz, with a range of approximately 17 meters.

The omniVID Solar4 rearview camera features four energy-efficient solar panels that charge a large 5,200 mAh battery. Due to its low energy consumption, the camera can operate solely on solar power.
