The new PeakTech 3433 has been specifically designed for everyday use in the trades, as it can be used to prepare for work such as carrying out slotting, mortising or drilling in walls, floors or ceilings.
The material locator is capable of detecting materials such as metals, woods and live wires in walls. The inverted LCD display visually shows the distance to the detected material and helps the user to estimate the internal condition of the wall before, for example, damage to pipes or short circuits in power lines occur. The reception depth of the sensor ranges from 20mm (wood) to 120mm (ferrous metal) depending on the material being searched. In addition, an LED (green, yellow, red) indicates whether a material has been found or whether a live line is present at the current test point. The simple operation, safe use and high-quality workmanship make this model the indispensable companion of every craftsman, DIYer or installer for maintenance and all work in the building sector.
