Combined device protection adapter for ADSL, VDSL up to 46 MBit/s, and Uko interfaces. It serves as an intermediate plug for Schuko sockets with integrated telecommunications protection. The input socket is RJ12, and the output socket is TAE N/F-coded (for the end device). A special protection circuit ensures that the data transmission speed is not dampened, allowing for fast surfing.

The power supply protection circuit consists of a varistor-gas discharge combination with thermal monitoring. It ensures automatic disconnection of the circuit from the mains and provides a visual fault indication in case of overload by turning off the operating display.

The protection circuit for the signal interface offers fine protection between the signal wires as well as robust protection between the signal wires and ground. The end device is not disconnected from the mains; however, the protection device must be replaced if necessary.
