Care
The camellia prefers a slightly acidic soil, preferably rich in humus. During the summer, it is important to keep the soil around the plant well moist. The plant prefers partial shade. Over time, the plant will grow into a large shrub, but several plants can also be grouped together to form a large shrub. In addition, the camellia does not grow quickly, usually about 15-20 cm per year. It is therefore not necessary to prune the plant regularly, especially in the early stages. However, it is important to remove dead branches and wilted flowers.
