The brand stair varnish from plid is manufactured in Germany. The stair varnish is a very high quality varnish and is characterised by its particular hardness, making it very suitable for highly stressed stairs. In addition, the stair varnish is characterised by its ease of application, e.g. with tools from prinzwork.

Intended use:
Particularly suitable for sealing cork, parquet and wooden floors, wooden stairs and furniture

COATING STRUCTURE AND APPLICATION TECHNIQUE:
Read the labelling before use! The substrate must be clean, dry, free of grease and rust and stable. Loose paint and old paint that is not stable must be removed. Adhering old coats must be sanded well (wear a dust mask). Stir well before use. The product is suitable for brushing, rolling or spraying.
a) Pre-treat the substrate accordingly
b) 1 - 2 primer coats diluted approx. 5 % with water
c) Sand intermediate coats after 6 hours (wear a dust mask)
d) 2 - 3 top coats of undiluted parquet lacquer

Yield:
approx. 12 m2/ltr. for one coat, depending on the absorbency of the substrate

Acrylic brush, short pile nylon roller
Cleaning the tools:
Immediately after use with soap and water

Drying time: (at 20°C, 65% relative humidity)
Dust-dry/solid to the touch: after approx. 1 hour
Recoatable/sandable: after approx. 6 hours
Completely dry: after approx. 24 hours
Fully loadable: after approx. 5 days
Lower temperatures and higher humidity extend the drying time!
