Promaseal-PL is a graphite-based fire protection laminate that intumesces under pressure in the event of fire due to temperature effects. It is characterized by an early starting temperature of approximately 150°C, allowing component joints to be quickly sealed and forming a stable, solidified foam crust. This ensures a secure seal against the passage of fire and smoke for the entire construction. The fire protection swelling strips must be approved and released by the door manufacturer.

Application: Excellent for wooden doors, glazing, fire protection panels, inspection flaps, facades, and construction joints in walls and ceilings.

Application instructions: Do not overstretch the swelling strips during installation. The surface must be clean, dry, and free from adhesion-reducing influences. Carry out tests in advance to clarify whether the self-adhesive finish will achieve sufficient final strength on the substrate.
