The hot melt adhesive inside ensures a waterproof seal when properly overlapped – the solder ring connects the two conductors during the shrink and melt process. It is ideal for repairing cables and wires (lawn mower search cables, signal lines, etc.), service, manufacturing, or hobbies. The application is very simple: strip the cables and insert them into the connector on both sides until the stripped ends overlap or twist under the solder ring. Heat evenly in the melting temperature range until the solder melts – ideally using a hot air gun, hot air blower, or heat gun. Allow to cool immediately, perform a visual inspection, and it's done.
