Product details
Solar/Wind sensor with convenient solar operation. With the DuoFern solar/wind sensor, DuoFern devices in the sun protection category can be controlled based on weather conditions, such as awnings, roller shutters, blinds, and slat systems. The DuoFern solar/wind sensor measures brightness and wind speed in real-time. It is powered by a solar cell, and an integrated battery provides the necessary power for 24 hours in the absence of sunlight. The device is ready to use immediately and can be directly connected to DuoFern devices/actuators, such as the RolloTube S-line Sun DuoFern awning motor, DuoFern tubular motor actuator, or the RolloTron DuoFern belt winders. The built-in test function allows for very short response times to light and wind movements, enabling the desired function to be checked without long waiting times.
The sunlight sensor can be set to brightness values ranging from 1 kLux to 99 kLux and reacts to sunlight after 10 minutes and to shade after 20 minutes. The wind sensor can be individually set for wind speeds between 10 and 99 km/h. For example, an awning can be automatically retracted after just two seconds of exceeding the threshold. To control more than three devices, the DuoFern solar/wind sensor can also be integrated into the HomePilot Smart Home system. Through a custom-configured scene, the roller shutters can automatically lower when the set brightness threshold is exceeded.
