The vacuum cleaner is actually good. The only problem is that it has an airflow monitor and if you vacuum the mats of the vehicle, for example, the alarm goes off and it is as loud as a fire alarm! The vacuum cleaner is therefore absolutely unusable for me in this form. I will unscrew the part and try to disconnect the loudspeaker. Either it will work or the thing will go in the bin!

I wanted a little shop vac for my woodworking. I thought about the older 10L version but it is merely an L-class with less suction power. All the other M-class machines are quite big.
So when this machine came out, I thought I had finally found the ideal machine. I'm already heavily invested in the Bosch system so I didn't see a major drawback in going cordless and using those batteries.
After using it on different projects, my experience is mixed.
The good:
- the machine is small
- built quality is solid.
- it has enough suction power for my needs (miter saw, plunge saw, overhead router, etc).
- The hose is good.
- And the start-stop function works great (just attach the little bluetooth device on the hose itself nearby the machine. Works like a charm).
However, there are bad things too:
- There is no L-box attachment on the (perfectly flat) top. Missed opportunity.
- The warning beep is super loud (which is good, I guess...) but scared the sh*t out of me multiple times already.
- the filter constantly clogs up when cutting MDF. The unclog function does little to nothing. Even when you remember to manually engaged the unclogging function (which you will, because it automatically engages when you change the battery. And you will do that A LOT. More on that later...). So you have to open the machine and manually clean the filter. Which makes the M-class rating pointless because the dust will go everywhere when you open up the machine and try to clean the filter. So that is something to do outside for sure, and please make sure you're at the good side of the wind....
- Often the plastic bag-holder (the metal rods inside the waste bin) come loose and you need to dig them out of the dust and reattach.
- The battery life is terrible. I use it with two almost new 5.5ampere batteries. Those clearly aren't powerful enough because I'm basically constantly charging one of them as I need to switch out empty batteries 3-4 times a day. Even when using it on the miter saw (it switches on and off for each cut) I cannot do more than....20-30 cuts?
So if you think you can use this vacuum to do sanding, you are absolutely wrong. It will run out of battery long before you feel the need to change your sanding paper. At least with the 5.5amperes.
So yes, it is cordless. But it might as well haven't been, because you will need that electrical socket nearby anyway.
All in all: a good machine with some flaws. And a pointless cordless design, unless for occasional use.
