DO NOT BUY ECOFLOW PRODUCTS. THERE IS NO POSSIBILITY TO REPAIR FOR OUR SWITZERLAND MARKET AS PER ANSWER FROM ECOFLOW AFTER A FAILED FIRMWARE UPGRADE. Furthermore, Galaxus says that they do not sell the product directly, sold by a third part vendor and are not responsible for it even if they certainly get a commission on the selling price. So if you buy and something goes wrong, you will enter an insane ping pong game.
"Although I would like to arrange a repair service for you within my approval area, the relevant process is impossible to carry out because of your current residence (Switzerland). Since our repair center is in Germany, you need to send the device back to Germany. This can result in very enormous postage costs and diverse tariffs during the return process between the two countries. The return between Germany and Switzerland has never succeeded. It is unacceptable and senseless for you as well as for us. I hope that you can understand this explanation of the current situation of your device. "

Does the job as advertised, very happy, can't wait to hit the road with this babe in my van!
Removing the plug covers is as easy as 1-2-3: drill a hole, put your finger in it and remove without any effort, they're only lightly clipped and come out super easy. Might not even take to drill a holes if finding how to grab them. As expected, it's just a EU product with covers for CH compliance, all 4 plugs are fully functional.

This thing is really good but has one huge flaw and that is the 4 Chinese power fans (3 watts each!) that remind you of a JET!
Or in other words... you can't put this part in a populated area.
What is halfway bearable (with ear protection) at 200 to 300 watts is painful at 400 watts solar power because then these FAN's turn up full blast and it sounds like a bitcon mining farm! This is not acceptable IMO and disturbs the otherwise brilliant overall impression of a compact all in ONE power station.
The volume is not comparable with the EcoFlow Delta Mini, which is comparatively quiet.
So if, like me, you want to put a Max in your living room after the Mini, be aware that it is unbearable!
Since I am electronically savvy, I replaced the FANs with silent FANs and now it's great!
ONLY this is of course risky because there are actually no standard FANs that deliver this performance. I would say that they only blow half as hard, but they only consume 1.5 watts max each and they are a few millimetres thicker, which makes installation even more difficult.
This modification is not possible without re-soldering the connectors and changing the wiring of the FAN!
The pinout is different and the RPM signal from the new FAN has to be routed into the void and the signal cable of the connector has to be connected to GND instead.
This seems to be an open collector signal that switches through when the fan turns. So it is a digital signal.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, hands off!
Such a modification on a power station is very dangerous for house (short circuit = inferno) life and limb (high voltages)!
So really only consider something like this if you know exactly what you are doing.
Otherwise do not even think about doing something like this.

The generator works great as the central power unit for your solar-powered office setup of a computer & Monitor, plus keeping phones and tablets charged. You can run your office for around 3 to 4 days when there is no sun, with sun you can run your office and top up your generator if you have at least 200W of solar going in. If you want to also power additional items such as lights or small appliances with your office setup, consider the EcoFlow Delta Pro with at least 200W of solar going in.
Regarding Solar Panels:
EcoFlow 110W solar panels work great with the Delta Max, but you will need two. It will take two full sunny days to charge a Delta pro to 100% from zero with 2 panels. If you have a Delta Pro don't buy the 110W panel, instead buy two 160W or even better, two 200W panels. To charge the Delta Pro from 0% to 100% it will require two 200W panels and two days to do the job. You can run your home office setup - Laptop & Monitor & Phone(s)/tablets(s) for about 3 days with the Delta Max and 5 to 6 days with the Delta Pro on a single 100% charge.

By pressing and holding the AC button on the back it is possible to switch between 60Hz and 50Hz. Unfortunately, this is not described in the manual supplied.
Please make sure that 50Hz is set before you operate any device with it.
When ordering, you should also order a Schuko/T13 adapter to be able to operate devices with a protective earth conductor.
According to Digitec support, a fixed adapter should be supplied with the charging cable. It was forgotten in my case, but I will receive one later.
The app has been a positive feature so far. It can be used, for example, to set the minimum and maximum charge in order to extend the life of the batteries.

The Powerstation was most likely sold directly to the customer without much control.
The frequency output at the AC output is 60Hz. So far I have not found a way to change it, if that is possible at all.
The charging cable has a Schuko plug. You also need a fixed adapter to be able to charge the Delta 2 at all.
The AC output is also a Schuko socket. Even if the power station were to output 50Hz, you would need an adapter here too. The instruction manual also shows a Swiss socket. I had hoped that this would also be installed when I order from Digitec in Switzerland.

Product:
For CHF 1'869.00, we send you an electric generator which, according to Galaxus, has been upgraded to Swiss standards, with 3 out of 4 electrical outlets sealed.
Moreover, the electrical plugs are European and no adapters are supplied with the product.
Of course, the after-sales service considers that the product is compliant and not defective, so the return costs are to be paid by the customer (30 kg in total). It is also the customer who has to do the work of Galaxus by organizing the return by post.
After sales service:
No manifestation from Galaxus once the return is registered on their website.
After a telephone contact request (11 days after registration of the return), an operator will call you for any questions you may have.
This operator, although courteous, fortunately, has no desire to sort out the mess. He sticks to his guns and insists that the product is in order and that the costs are at your expense. A great scam in my opinion.
I told the operator that I would gladly pay the return shipping costs to get a refund of the staggering sum of
CHF 1,869 for the generator and CHF 1,089 for the solar panel and that in future I would use another supplier.
I have also had problems with an ASUS computer (unrepairable according to the supplier) and a BenQ projector (sent 3 times for repair).
In conclusion, I give a mark of 1 out of 10 to the EcoFlow products as well as to the after sales service of Galaxus.
Best regards.
