This freewheel has a low radial height and is double-supported by built-in sintered bushings or needle cages. This eliminates the need for additional bearings that are otherwise essential for freewheels. Freewheels are used as switching elements, backstop devices, overrunning clutches, etc. Pressing in should preferably be done with a mandrel whose collar should rest against the end face of the bearing marked with the short designation.
