The 2491B is low-smoke and halogen-free. It is an unshielded cable 2491B, insulated with cross-linked, low-smoke, halogen-free composite material. It has been manufactured according to BS 7211 and is suitable for electrical supply, lighting, and internal wiring where smoke and toxic fumes in the event of a fire are life-threatening or harmful to equipment. The conductors are made of pure soft copper for 300-8500 V and are BASEC approved.
