The 2491B is low-smoke and halogen-free. It consists of non-sheathed 2491B cables that are insulated with cross-linked, low-smoke, halogen-free composite material. These cables are manufactured according to BS 7211 and are suitable for electrical supply, lighting, and internal wiring where smoke and toxic fumes can be life-threatening or harmful to equipment in the event of a fire. The conductors are made of pure soft copper for 300-8500 V and are BASEC approved.
