It is non-magnetic. A2, DIN 1.4301 is a versatile stainless steel with sufficient corrosion resistance, good weldability, and formability, making it excellent for polishing. It is suitable for use in laundries, the food and chemical industries, dairy farming, process engineering, and tank construction. A4, DIN 1.4404 is extremely corrosion-resistant due to the addition of molybdenum and is also non-magnetic. It is suitable for use in phototechnology, the food and chemical industries, as well as shipbuilding.
