Requires a closing pliers for installation and removal. Both closing and side-closing pliers, or alternatively cable cutters, can be used. To fully install an ear, the first ear is closed so that it can be slightly opened. This ensures high stability, allowing the clamp to withstand shrinkage, pressure, and vibrations due to wear and temperature changes. Use side-closing pliers when access to the ear is restricted. The RS Pro series of double-ear O-Clips is available in a range of sizes from a minimum diameter of 5 mm to a maximum diameter of 27 mm, with band widths from 6 mm to 10 mm.
