The end of the motor shaft is smooth and designed for protection class IP54, while the motor housing is designed for IP65. The servo motor consists of two power stages. The built-in Sin/Cos Hiperface absolute encoder is implemented as a single-turn with 16 periods per revolution (32768 points/rev). A holding brake is integrated.
